Full Stack Developer
Experience: 5–8 years
Project: Digital Banking / BPM
Role Summary
We are looking for a hands-on Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and support secure, scalable digital banking and BPM applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and ReactJS.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.
- Build responsive user interfaces using ReactJS and TypeScript/JavaScript.
- Design and integrate REST APIs with BPM, core banking, and third-party systems.
- Write clean, secure, testable code and perform code reviews.
- Troubleshoot application, integration, and production issues.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with business, QA, UX, DevOps, and architecture teams.
- Maintain technical documentation and support application deployment.
Mandatory Skills
- Java, Spring Boot, Spring Security, JPA/Hibernate
- Microservices and REST API development
- ReactJS, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3
- Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or similar relational databases
- Git, Maven/Gradle, CI/CD, Docker
- Unit testing, debugging, and secure coding practices
Preferred Skills
- Experience in digital banking, financial services, or BPM projects
- Exposure to Kafka, Kubernetes, or Red Hat OpenShift
- Experience with IBM BAW, Camunda, Pega, Appian, or similar BPM platforms
- Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, JWT, API security, and OWASP standards
- Understanding of maker-checker, workflow, approval, SLA, and audit-trail requirements
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience working in Agile and cross-functional delivery teams

Banking and BPM Experience
- Experience developing applications for banking, financial services, or other regulated environments.
- Understanding of digital banking journeys such as customer onboarding, account services, payments, cards, service requests, approvals, and notifications.
- Experience integrating applications with BPM or workflow platforms.
- Understanding of maker-checker, approval hierarchy, task assignment, SLA, escalation, and audit-trail requirements.
- Knowledge of API security, data privacy, encryption, and secure coding.
- Familiarity with core banking integration is an advantage.
- Experience with IBM BAW, Camunda, Pega, Appian, or a comparable BPM platform is preferred.
DevOps and Engineering Tools
- Experience with Git-based source-code management.
- Working knowledge of Maven or Gradle.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or equivalent tools.
- Working knowledge of Docker and container-based deployment.
- Exposure to Kubernetes or Red Hat OpenShift is preferred, as OpenShift and Kafka capabilities are represented in the current Arab Bank platform and middleware structure
- Experience with code-quality and security tools such as SonarQube, Fortify, Checkmarx, or equivalent.
Familiarity with application logging and monitoring tools.
