About Hayah Health
Hayah Health is a preventive health platform for women in Qatar, incubated at Qatar Science and Technology Park (QSTP). It sits between the laboratory and the clinic. Labs measure, clinics treat, but nobody explains, personalises or follows up in the years in between, which is exactly when metabolic and hormonal conditions take shape.
What I need
- A technical review, starting immediately (a few days of work). An honest audit of the security policies, data model integrity, error handling and edge cases: anything that won't hold up once 50 real women are using it with real health data. I want the truth, not reassurance.
- Build support from November. Helping finish and extend the product: the admin console, member portrait and protocol screens, the check-in loop, and an assistant grounded in each member's own plan using the Claude API.
- From 2027, depending on fit: automated extraction of lab PDF values, assisted protocol generation, a native mobile app and payment integration.
Why on-site
This is a small, fast-moving build with real health data and a hard launch date. I want to work side by side with you in Doha, at QSTP, so we can test with real members together.
What is essential
- Based in Doha
- Strong React and TypeScript
- Real Postgres and Supabase experience, especially row-level security. This is the highest-risk area of the product.
- You have shipped and maintained a production application, not only prototypes
- You can work with a non-technical founder: explaining trade-offs plainly and saying clearly when something is a bad idea
Strongly preferred
- Arabic or RTL internationalisation experience
- Experience with health or other sensitive, regulated data, and an understanding of why privacy cannot be added later
- Comfort working inside an AI-generated codebase without wanting to rewrite it on sight
The disposition that matters most
Someone who improves what exists rather than replacing it. The codebase was built with AI assistance, but it has real conventions, documented decisions and deliberate architecture behind it. Starting over would cost the project its timeline.
