Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Fire Alarm Technician based in Tubli. The Fire Alarm Technician will install, configure, test, and commission fire alarm and related low-voltage life safety systems in accordance with applicable standards and project specifications. Daily tasks include diagnosing and troubleshooting system faults, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, and documenting work performed and test results. The role involves collaborating with supervisors, engineers, and other technicians to ensure timely completion of installations and service calls. The technician will also interact with customers on-site to explain system functions, provide basic training, and ensure a professional and safe working environment.
Qualifications
* Strong technical foundation in low-voltage engineering and electrical systems, with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
* Hands-on experience with fire alarm and alarm systems, including installation, configuration, testing, and commissioning in compliance with local codes and standards.
* Proficiency in troubleshooting and fault diagnosis, including identifying root causes, performing repairs, and verifying system performance.
* Knowledge of life safety systems and regulations, with a commitment to safe work practices and adherence to relevant codes and standards.
* Effective customer service skills, including clear communication, professional behavior on-site, and the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
* Relevant technical diploma or certification in electrical, electronics, or low-voltage systems; fire alarm or life safety certifications are an advantage.
* Previous experience in fire alarm installation or maintenance, preferably within commercial or industrial environments.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage time effectively, and maintain accurate documentation and reports.
