Reports to: Senior Finance Officer; Manager / Controller — Kuwait
Purpose of the Role
Completing the maker-checker chain already applied to payments, extending it to financial reporting. Today the Senior Finance Officer builds and the Manager/Controller — Kuwait reviews every report. This role becomes the dedicated preparer — turning the reconciled ledger into finished reports — freeing the Senior Finance Officer to verify rather than produce. Brought forward to Q4 2026, alongside the other Kuwait hires, ahead of the reporting-volume increase from UAE consolidation and Kuwait's own CMA/KSE reporting cadence.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts (P&L, balance sheet, cash position, variance analysis) for the Senior Finance Officer's review.
- Preparation of supporting schedules for the CMA/regulatory filings and audit requests.
- Verifying report figures tie back to the ledger and the Bookkeeper/Accountant's reconciliations before submitting for review.
- Supporting the external audit process and first-level auditor queries
- Cross-training as backup for the Bookkeeper/Accountant.
- Preparing the consolidated Kuwait + UAE group accounts once UAE figures are received each cycle.
Decision Authority
- No independent sign-off, all reports require Senior Finance Officer review and Manager/Controller - Kuwait final approval
Key Performance Indicators
- Draft accounts and schedules ready for review by an agreed month-end date.
- Zero material corrections required after review, trending down over the first two quarters.
- CMA/regulatory drafts submitted ahead of statutory deadlines with review margin.
