About the Role
VAS Global Services is looking for an experienced FP&A Manager to join our Finance team in Abu Dhabi.
The FP&A Manager will play a key role in translating VAS’s financial strategy into robust plans, forecasts, financial models, and actionable business insights. The role will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making, optimize resource allocation, and drive financial performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes in collaboration with business units.
- Analyse financial performance, variances, trends, and risks, providing actionable insights to senior leadership.
- Develop and maintain advanced financial models, scenario analyses, and business cases to support strategic initiatives.
- Design and monitor KPIs and dashboards to track company-wide financial and operational performance.
- Prepare management reporting packages and presentations for the CFO, Finance Director, and executive leadership.
- Partner with Investments, Tax, Treasury, Operations, and Regional/Country Finance teams to align financial plans with business objectives.
- Identify opportunities to optimize resource allocation, improve profitability, and enhance overall business performance.
- Supervise and mentor FP&A analysts, promoting strong analytical and reporting practices.
- Support strategic projects and other financial initiatives as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
- 7+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment analysis, or a related field.
- Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, scenario planning, and management reporting.
- Proficiency in Power BI and/or other financial planning and analytics tools such as Adaptive Insights.
- Strong analytical and commercial acumen, with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear business recommendations.
- Experience in fast-paced or high-growth environments; exposure to sovereign wealth funds, asset management, family offices, or similar environments is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
- Strong leadership and coaching capabilities.
- Professional qualification such as CFA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA, or CA is preferred.
- Fluent English is required; Arabic is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to regional offices when required.
