Role Description
A Finance Manager oversees the organization’s financial operations, accounting activities, reporting, budgeting, and financial planning. The role ensures accurate financial management, regulatory compliance, effective cost control, and provides financial insights to support business performance and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee daily finance and accounting operations.
- Manage financial reporting, accounting records, and month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, cash flow, and financial plans.
- Review financial performance, variances, costs, and key financial indicators.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax requirements, internal policies, and regulations.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, reconciliations, and cash management.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, banks, vendors, and other external stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain effective financial controls, procedures, and risk management practices.
- Lead, supervise, and develop finance and accounting team members.
- Provide financial analysis, reports, and strategic recommendations to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Significant experience in finance, accounting, financial reporting, or financial management.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls.
- Experience with ERP systems, accounting software, and financial reporting tools.
- Strong analytical, numerical, leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy when handling financial information.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, stakeholders, and financial responsibilities.
