Job DescriptionJob OverviewThe ALS Field Specialist II is responsible for delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality Artificial Lift Systems (ALS) services with a primary focus on Jet Pump operations. The role supports field execution, equipment monitoring, maintenance activities, operational reporting, and client service while maintaining full compliance with Weatherford QHSE standards. The ALS Field Specialist II works closely with supervisors and field teams to ensure reliable job execution, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- * Execute and support ALS field operations, including Jet Pump installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization activities.
- Monitor operational performance and accurately record field operation parameters and job data.
- Maintain and track tools, equipment, spare parts, and consumable inventories.
- Assist with job preparation, equipment commissioning, mobilization, and demobilization activities.
- Support field supervisors in delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality services to customers.
- Ensure compliance with company QHSE policies, procedures, and operational standards.
- Identify, report, and address hazards, incidents, unsafe conditions, and non-conformances.
- Participate in safety meetings, emergency response drills, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate operational records, reports, and documentation.
- Perform additional duties assigned by ALS leadership to support business and operational requirements.
Skills
- * Knowledge of Artificial Lift Systems and Jet Pump operations.
- Strong troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a field team.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong safety awareness and commitment to quality standards.
- Good organizational, reporting, and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to adapt to changing operational priorities and field conditions.
- Understanding of operational monitoring, equipment maintenance, and field execution processes.
QualificationsRequired
- * Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Jet Pump operations and Artificial Lift Systems field activities.
- Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong technical understanding of ALS equipment, operations, and field procedures.
- Medically fit for field-based assignments.
Preferred
- * Experience working in high H ₂ S oil and gas environments.
- Previous experience supporting ALS projects and wellsite operations.
- Exposure to competency development programs and structured technical training.
- Experience working within international oilfield service environments.
