Role Description The Event Lighting Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Zone 39, responsible for designing, programming, and operating lighting systems for a wide range of events. This role involves developing lighting plans that align with event concepts, installing and configuring fixtures and control equipment, and conducting pre-event testing and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance. The Event Lighting Engineer coordinates with event producers, stage managers, and audiovisual technicians to deliver cohesive technical setups, and provides real-time adjustments during rehearsals and live events. Daily responsibilities also include maintaining lighting equipment, ensuring adherence to safety standards, and supporting post-event breakdown and inventory management.
