About the Role
Extensive experience with international prime contractors across the GCC and global markets, delivering complex projects valued at a minimum of USD 200 million. Proven expertise across major sectors, including airports, railways, bridges, data centres, luxury 5-star hotels and residences, 50+ story commercial high-rise towers, ports, and military assets. Strong track record with leading international construction companies in the Middle East and across global markets, with extensive experience managing large-scale, complex, and high-value projects.
Responsibilities
- Code BOQs in CCS, perform quantity take-offs, prepare BOQs, prepare bespoke RFQ packages (Specs, drawings, BOQ, and contract), and coordinate with the contracts dept. To ensure back-to-back, fixed-price lump sum/escalation mechanisms are met.
- Accountable for combined technical and commercial comparison tables; meetings with subcontractors to ensure method, sequence, program compliance; scope of work and specification compliance; contractual compliance; plant and equipment requirements priced correctly and coordinated with other disciplines; laydown and work yard area, etc.
- Coordinate and own technical, contractual, legal, and commercial performance to ensure company standards and the tender schedule are met.
- Tender team efficiency and retention; develop and execute a bid-winning strategy; present weekly tender reports to the BOD; lead final review meetings with the tender committee; achieve KPIs for cost per sq mt and unit rates; and maximise winning margins.
- Compile all information correctly, including notes and remarks on the top sheet, including direct, indirect, risk OH, profit, escalation, finance, tax, etc.
- Package and submit tenders online and in person to clients.
Qualifications
- US/UK-accredited university, B.Sc. Civil Engineering.
