About the Role: To assume full responsibility for the Manufacturing Engineering Group in the absence of the Senior Engineering Manager.
- Execute the planning and execution of the planned preventative maintenance of all plant and equipment to meet the demands of the process and manufacturing end users.
- Assist in the planning and execution of Projects activities to meet the agreed specification and time scale.
- Assisting in the development and auctioning of a plan to cultivate a safety conscious culture within the Engineering department.
- Ensure Compliance to Quality Procedures and standards within the Manufacturing Engineering function.
- Meeting preset targets as agreed for Manufacturing Engineering Department and site. Identify skills requirements for staff within Engineering and develop adequate skill base for future growth to meet the business needs going forward.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
- 5+ Years hands-on experience managing facility operations.
- Building maintenance, or MEP systems, building operations experience, and deep technical knowledge of critical facility systems.
- Experience in conducting Health and Safety, and Quality Audits within the Food/Dairy Industry.
- Experience in the Dairy or Food Industry is a prerequisite.
- Able to manage large number of headcounts.
- Excellent verbal and written communication English skills.
