Role Description This full-time Electrical Technician role is an on-site position based in Abu Dhabi. The Electrical Technician will carry out installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment, following technical drawings, standards, and safety procedures. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing faults, performing troubleshooting on electrical circuits and devices, and ensuring timely corrective and preventive maintenance. The role also involves testing and commissioning electrical equipment, maintaining accurate maintenance records, coordinating with supervisors and other trades, and complying with company and regulatory safety requirements.
Qualifications
* Candidates should possess strong skills in Electrical Maintenance and working safely with Electricity.
* Candidates should possess solid Troubleshooting skills for identifying and resolving electrical faults and system issues.
* Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Electrical Engineering principles relevant to installation and maintenance work.
* Candidates should possess practical experience handling and maintaining various types of Electrical Equipment.
* Relevant technical diploma or certification in electrical technology or a related field.
* Experience as an Electrical Technician in construction, industrial, or facilities environments, preferably in the UAE or GCC.
* Knowledge of applicable electrical codes, standards, and safety practices.
* Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics, and use standard electrical tools and test instruments.
* Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a diverse site team.
* Willingness to work on-site, adapt to project schedules, and follow company HSE policies.
