We Are Hiring | Electrical Engineer – Site
ASALI Engineering Consulting & Project Management is looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer – Site to join our supervision team immediately across several project locations in Jordan.
The selected candidate will be responsible for supervising electrical works on site, coordinating with contractors and multidisciplinary teams, reviewing technical submissions, and ensuring that all installations are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, applicable codes, and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities Supervise and monitor all electrical works and installations on site. * Ensure execution complies with approved drawings, specifications, codes, standards, and project requirements. * Review shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, technical submissions, and RFIs. * Conduct site inspections and verify the quality and progress of electrical works. * Coordinate electrical works with architectural, structural, mechanical, and other disciplines*. * Follow up on site activities, contractor performance, and outstanding technical issues. * Review and respond to inspection requests and technical queries. * Monitor installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of electrical systems. * Review as-built drawings and related project documentation. * Attend site coordination and progress meetings. * Prepare site observations, technical reports, and progress updates. * Identify non-conformities and follow up corrective actions. * Ensure proper implementation of approved materials and systems. * Support the Project Manager and supervision team in resolving site coordination issues.
Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. * Minimum 8+ years of professional experience in site supervision and construction projects. * Strong practical experience in electrical systems, installations, testing, and commissioning. * Good knowledge of power distribution, lighting, low-current systems, ELV systems, fire alarm, and related building services. * Strong understanding of electrical drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and construction documentation. * Good knowledge of applicable electrical codes, standards, and site supervision procedures. * Strong multidisciplinary coordination and problem-solving skills. * Good communication, reporting, and documentation capabilities. * Proficiency in relevant engineering software and Microsoft Office. * Experience with engineering consultancy and supervision projects is highly preferred. * Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary site teams. * Available to join immediately. * Candidates should be flexible to work at different project locations across Jordan*, depending on project requirements.
