Job Description – Technical Analyst / DevOps (IS Operations)
Role Overview
We are seeking a Technical Analyst / DevOps professional to join the IS Operations team, supporting the stability, monitoring, and continuous improvement of internal systems and infrastructure.
Experience Required
- 3 years of relevant hands-on experience in a similar technical environment
- 3 years of hands-on experience in DevOps implementation and systems administration
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot software and infrastructure issues
- Document and track incidents in a ticketing system; escalate complex cases as appropriate
- Ensure business continuity of internal systems by proactively supporting end users and fulfilling requests within agreed response and resolution SLAs
- Respond to and resolve automated alerts to ensure system health
- Conduct routine maintenance, software updates, and security patches
- Contribute to documentation and knowledge base development to support the operations team
- Proactively recommend system improvements and process enhancements
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Linux operating systems, database administration, and SQL
- Hands-on knowledge of systems monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., Splunk, Grafana)
- Hands-on knowledge of build automation and CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins, Nexus)
- Experience maintaining and debugging applications on Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience deploying and troubleshooting highly available, secure, and reliable services
- Proficiency in scripting languages: Bash, Groovy, Python
- Experience with infrastructure configuration and automation tools (Ansible); cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus
- Strong willingness to learn continuously
- Good communication skills
Academic Background
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
