DEVOPS ENGINEER FOR AI PLATFORM

POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to build and run the cloud platform behind our agentic AI systems for the
pharmaceutical industry. You will work alongside our AI engineers as the infrastructure and reliability counterpart:
owning Kubernetes on AWS EKS, CI/CD, configuration, and observability, so that multi-agent AI services can be
developed, deployed, and operated safely at production scale. This role suits a strong DevOps engineer with a
genuine interest in AI who wants to grow into AI platform engineering.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design, provision, and operate AWS EKS clusters and supporting AWS infrastructure (VPC, IAM, ECR, load
balancing, storage, secrets) using Infrastructure as Code.
• Build and maintain GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines for Python AI services, agent components, and container
images, including testing, security scanning, and promotion across environments.
• Manage Kubernetes deployments and configuration using Helm, Kustomize, or GitOps tooling, with safe rollout
strategies (rolling, blue/green, canary) and fast rollback.
• Own the observability stack with Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki: metrics, dashboards, log aggregation,
alerting, and SLOs for platform and AI workloads.
• Partner with AI engineers to deploy and scale LLM-based and multi-agent services, vector databases,
model/API gateways, and data pipelines, including LLM tracing, token/cost monitoring, and GPU capacity where
needed.
• Enforce security, access control, audit logging, and change management suitable for a regulated
pharmaceutical environment.

Skills
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• 4+ years of DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering experience in production environments.
• Hands-on production experience running Kubernetes on AWS EKS is mandatory.
• Strong experience building CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, and solid Git workflows.
• Proven experience with Kubernetes deployments and configuration management (Helm, Kustomize,
ConfigMaps/Secrets, GitOps with Argo CD or Flux).
• Hands-on experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki for monitoring, logging, and alerting.
• Infrastructure as Code with Terraform (or CloudFormation/CDK), plus Docker and Linux administration.
• Scripting in Python and Bash; comfortable reading and supporting Python application code.
• Genuine interest in AI and LLMs, and willingness to learn agentic AI tooling to support AI engineers.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
• Deploying or operating AI/ML or LLM workloads (MLOps/LLMOps), including GPU nodes, model serving, or
Amazon Bedrock / SageMaker.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, life-sciences, or other regulated industries (GxP, data integrity, audit trails).
• AWS certifications (e.g. DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect) or Kubernetes certifications (CKA/CKAD).
