Position: Dermatologist
Location: Qatar
Experience: Minimum 3 years post-specialization experience
Job Summary
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Dermatologist. The candidate must meet the requirements for DHP eligibility/licensing as a Specialist Dermatologist.
Candidate Requirements
- MBBS or equivalent recognized primary medical degree from a recognized medical institution.
- Recognized postgraduate qualification in Dermatology
- Minimum 3 years of relevant clinical experience after obtaining the postgraduate Dermatology qualification.
- Must be eligible for DHP (Department of Healthcare Professions), Qatar registration/licensing as a Specialist Dermatologist.
- Valid/current medical registration or license from the relevant medical authority.
- Must be able to complete Primary Source Verification (PSV) of educational and professional credentials.
- Good Standing Certificate from the relevant licensing authority.
- DHP qualifying examination/Prometric, where applicable based on the candidate's qualification and DHP requirements.
- Strong clinical knowledge and good communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of dermatological conditions.
- Conduct comprehensive dermatological consultations and examinations.
- Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans.
- Manage medical and, where applicable, cosmetic dermatology cases.
- Perform dermatological procedures within the candidate's qualifications and scope of practice.
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
- Provide appropriate follow-up and monitor treatment outcomes.
- Maintain high standards of patient care and professional ethics.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous GCC/Qatar experience is an advantage.
- Experience in medical and cosmetic dermatology.
- Experience with dermatological procedures and/or laser treatments.
- Good English communication skills.
Important DHP Requirement
Candidates must have both:
1. Recognized primary medical degree (MBBS or equivalent)
AND
2. Recognized postgraduate qualification in Dermatology
