Job Summary
Responsible for monitoring, controlling, and analyzing the company's cost structure across all brands and branches, including COGS, purchasing, inventory, production, and waste. The role identifies cost variances, investigates their root causes, and provides management with accurate analysis and actionable insights to improve cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities1. Monitor and analyze the cost structure across all brands and branches, including COGS, purchasing, inventory, consumption, production, waste, and transfers.
2. Review recipes, standard costs, yields, and actual consumption on Foodics, and ensure costing data is accurate.
3. Analyze actual costs against budget, standard cost, and previous periods.
4. Prepare monthly cost reports, variance analyses, and cost KPIs.
5. Monitor purchasing prices and flag abnormal increases or variations.
6. Investigate abnormal variances, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
7. Coordinate with Operations, Purchasing, Warehouse, Central Kitchen, and Finance to implement corrective actions, and follow up until issues are resolved.
8. Review branch and Central Kitchen costs and identify cost-saving and efficiency opportunities.
9. Support the analysis of operating costs, including labor, utilities, maintenance, marketing, and delivery.
10. Support month-end COGS closing and reconciliation, and coordinate with Accounts to ensure cost data consistency between Foodics and Xero.
11. Monitor compliance with approved budgets, costing standards, and company policies.
Requirements
- * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant Cost Control experience, preferably in Restaurants / F&B.
- Hands-on experience with Foodics (mandatory).
- Hands-on experience with Xero (mandatory).
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
- Solid understanding of COGS, inventory, purchasing, OPEX, budgeting, variance analysis, and waste control.
- Experience working across multiple branches and/or brands.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate variances and find root causes, not only prepare reports.
- Strong communication and coordination skills with different departments.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to take full ownership of assigned responsibilities.
