Role Description The Compliance Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Ismailia. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining compliance policies and procedures that align with local regulations, international standards, and customer requirements. The Compliance Officer will monitor operational processes, conduct regular audits, assess risks, and report findings to management, recommending corrective actions where needed. Daily tasks include reviewing documentation, coordinating with finance and production teams on compliance matters, maintaining records, and supporting internal training to raise awareness of regulatory and ethical standards. The role also involves staying current on relevant laws and industry guidelines, ensuring ShengDa Egypt’s operations and supply chain remain compliant and responsible.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel – Must
Good command of English language, both written and spoken
Good knowledge of Egyptian labor law and local regulations
Ability to understand, follow, and continuously learn compliance requirements
Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
Good communication and organizational skills
Previous experience in factory compliance, HR compliance, social compliance, or a similar role is preferred
