The Business Technology Manager is responsible for identifying, evaluating, prioritizing and leading technology-enabled business transformation initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, productivity, profitability, customer experience and organizational agility across Tamimi Commercial.
The role serves as a strategic bridge between business functions and technology teams, translating business priorities and operational challenges into practical and scalable solutions across business applications, process automation, Artificial Intelligence (AI), data and analytics, digital platforms and workflow technologies.
The jobholder leads the development and execution of the Company's Business Technology Roadmap, identifies opportunities for process optimization and automation, develops business cases for technology investments, and leads approved initiatives from concept through implementation, adoption and benefits realization.
The role operates in close collaboration with the CEO, business leaders, Information Technology, Finance and other relevant stakeholders to ensure that technology investments are aligned with the Company's strategic objectives, business priorities, governance requirements and expected business value.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.
- MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification in Digital Transformation, Technology Management, Business Administration, Business Analytics or a related field is preferred.
Professional Experience
- 7–12 years of relevant professional experience for candidates holding a Bachelor's degree.
- 5–10 years of relevant professional experience for candidates holding a Master's degree.
- Minimum 3 years of demonstrated experience in Business Technology, Digital Transformation, Business Systems, Process Automation, Business Analysis, or technology-enabled business improvement.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional technology and business transformation initiatives from assessment and business case development through implementation and benefits realization.
- Experience working directly with senior management and business stakeholders to identify business needs and translate them into technology solutions.
- Experience in evaluating and implementing business applications, automation, analytics, AI solutions and digital platforms.
- Experience in developing business cases, ROI analysis, technology roadmaps and transformation plans.
- Experience managing technology vendors, implementation partners and external consultants.
Technical & Business Requirements
- Strong understanding of business process analysis, process redesign and continuous improvement.
- Strong understanding of digital transformation and business technology strategy.
- Practical knowledge of ERP, CRM, Business Intelligence, workflow and business application platforms.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform, automation tools and data analytics.
- Good understanding of Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, AI Agents, predictive analytics and intelligent automation, including the ability to identify practical business use cases.
- Understanding of system integration, APIs, cloud technologies and information security principles.
- Ability to evaluate technology solutions based on business value, scalability, usability, cost, risk and implementation feasibility.
- Strong understanding of project management, change management and user adoption.
- Ability to translate business requirements into clear functional requirements, process designs and solution specifications.
