- Identify emerging trends and business opportunities related to BIM.
- Maintain ongoing oversight of the CDE to monitor access, support seamless collaboration, and ensure compliance with project needs throughout its lifecycle.
- Manage and utilise digital tools to oversee content libraries, perform model health checks, and automate routine tasks. Ensure that content and models are efficient, optimized, and compliant with project standards.
- Manage the exchange of discipline-specific design models through the CDE or Electronic Document Management System (EDMS), ensuring compliance with established protocols and effective collaboration between teams.
- Monitor and assess project execution to identify and address any deviations from established standards, supporting project teams in achieving quality and regulatory compliance.
- Monitor the effectiveness of these tools, address issues as they arise, and provide training and support to project teams for their successful implementation.
- Monitor project progress, maintain high QA/QC standards, and ensure the delivery of accurate and consistent design models.
- Post initial setup is complete, transitions day-to-day BIM management responsibilities to the appropriate project team members, maintaining oversight and conducting periodic reviews to support quality assurance and address any issues as they arise.
- Oversee BIM processes across all project stages to ensure compliance with ISO 19650 and/or project standards, maintain rigorous QA/QC protocols, and uphold consistent BIM practices.
- Process Improvement & Optimisation: Drive initiatives to streamline BIM processes by developing automation routines that improve productivity while ensuring adherence to established BIM standards and quality protocols.
- Provide comprehensive digital delivery and BIM orientation for new hires, ensuring familiarity with tools, standards, and processes to support a smooth transition into their roles.
