Job Title SWIFT Administrator
Role Summary The SWIFT Administrator (U3) is responsible for the administration, support, maintenance, and optimization of the SWIFT infrastructure and related financial messaging platforms. The role requires managing day-to-day operations, ensuring platform availability, implementing security controls, supporting audits, and collaborating with global stakeholders to deliver secure and reliable financial messaging services.
Key Responsibilities
SWIFT Platform Administration
- Administer and support SWIFT Alliance Access (SAA), SWIFT Alliance Gateway (SAG), Alliance Web Platform, and related components.
- Monitor SWIFT infrastructure health, message flows, and application performance.
- Perform installation, upgrades, patches, and configuration changes.
- Manage SWIFT certificates, RMA authorizations, and messaging configurations.
- Ensure high availability and business continuity of SWIFT services.
Security & Compliance
- Implement and maintain SWIFT Customer Security Programme (CSP) controls.
- Conduct access reviews and user entitlement management.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards.
- Support vulnerability remediation and security assessments.
- Maintain documentation required for audits and regulatory reviews.
Change & Release Management
- Support infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and DR testing activities.
- Execute change requests following organizational change management processes.
- Validate system functionality after releases and configuration changes.
- Prepare implementation and rollback plans.
Documentation & Reporting
- Develop and maintain SOPs, knowledge articles, and operational runbooks.
- Generate operational metrics, compliance reports, and management dashboards.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, problems, and changes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Finance, or related field.
- Typically 4-7 years of experience in SWIFT Administration, Financial Messaging, Banking Technology, or Production Support environments.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of SWIFT infrastructure and architecture.
- Hands-on experience with:SWIFT Alliance Access (SAA)SWIFT Alliance Gateway (SAG)SWIFTNet ServicesRMA ManagementPKI and Certificate Management
- Understanding of MT and ISO 20022 messaging standards.
- Experience with Windows/Linux server administration.
- Knowledge of networking concepts, security protocols, and middleware technologies.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow, ITIL processes, and monitoring tools.
- Experience with disaster recovery and high-availability environments.
