Sam&Sain Co. is an independent consulting firm in Toronto for owner-led and growing businesses. We're looking for a video editor in Beirut, working remotely, with a strong sense of story, pacing and finish.
The role
You'll turn footage into finished video that feels true to the business, with clear storytelling, careful pacing, clean colour and polished sound. The work includes brand films, interviews, product and hospitality content, and short videos for social channels. The role is editing only.
What you'll do
• Review the brief and footage, then shape a clear structure for each piece.
• Edit for story and pacing, with care for colour, sound and the platform where the video will appear.
• Cut versions for each channel, from short vertical videos to longer landscape films.
• Work with our team and clients, take feedback and deliver organised project files on schedule.
What we're looking for
• A portfolio or showreel of your editing, with your contribution to each piece made clear.
• Confidence with professional editing software, colour correction and audio clean-up.
• Good judgement on structure and pacing, clear communication and reliable follow-through.
• An understanding of both vertical social content and longer landscape films.
Experience with food, hospitality, products or interviews is useful.
Details
Remote contract for editors based in Beirut, Lebanon. Full-time or part-time hours. US$5 to US$10 an hour, based on experience.
