Role OverviewThe Talent Acquisition Specialist will drive the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for our diverse portfolio across the Retail, F&B, and FMCG sectors in Qatar. This role is focused on sourcing high-caliber talent for both front-of-house operations and corporate functions, ensuring a seamless candidate experience while meeting aggressive hiring targets. The incumbent will act as a strategic partner to line managers, leveraging market insights to attract top-tier talent in a competitive GCC landscape.Key Responsibilities
- * Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for various positions across Retail, F&B, and FMCG, from entry-level staff to mid-management roles.
- Partner with Department Heads and Store Managers to define role requirements, develop ideal candidate personas, and align on selection criteria.
- Execute multi-channel sourcing strategies, including social media, job boards, industry networking, and specialized niche platforms relevant to the Qatar market.
- Conduct thorough competency-based interviews and behavioral assessments to ensure cultural fit and technical proficiency.
- Manage high-volume recruitment drives and "open days" to meet seasonal demands and new store/outlet openings.
- Facilitate the offer management process, including salary negotiations and pre-employment vetting, in compliance with Qatar Labor Law.
- Optimize the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to ensure data integrity, candidate pipeline visibility, and efficient workflow management.
- Develop and maintain a talent pipeline for critical roles, reducing Time-to-Hire and Cost-per-Hire metrics.
- Support Employer Branding initiatives by representing the company at career fairs and enhancing the digital footprint on platforms like LinkedIn.
- Coordinate with the PRO/Onboarding team to ensure a smooth transition for international recruits, including visa processing alignment.

Required Education

Required Knowledge
- * Deep understanding of the Qatar Labor Law and Ministry of Labor regulations regarding recruitment and residency.
- Expert knowledge of the Retail, F&B, and FMCG talent landscapes in the GCC region.
- Familiarity with international recruitment corridors and agency management for blue-collar and frontline hiring.
- Knowledge of modern recruitment marketing trends and employer branding strategies.
- Understanding of compensation and benefits benchmarks within the Qatar retail and hospitality sectors.
Required Skills
- * Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, Taleo, Greenhouse, or Lever).
- Advanced sourcing skills using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search strings, and social media tools.
- Strong interviewing skills (Behavioral, Situational, and Competency-based).
- Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) for recruitment reporting and analytics.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are a significant advantage in the Qatar market.
- Negotiation skills for closing complex offers and managing candidate expectations.
