DevOps AWS Engineer
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8AM to 5PM or 9AM to 6PM
Work Model: Hybrid
Location: Jisr El Bacha, Lebanon
Layout International is seeking an experienced DevOps AWS Engineer to join our team. The role focuses on managing and optimizing AWS cloud infrastructure and DevOps processes to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient application deployment and operation.
What you’ll do:
- Manage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure to ensure reliable and efficient application operation.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and containerized environments.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and production issues.
- Ensure cloud security, backups, and disaster recovery.
- Optimize cloud performance and costs.

Collaborate with development and security teams to improve DevOps practices and processes.

What we’re looking for:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Experience managing Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Experience working with containerized environments.
- Solid understanding of monitoring, AWS networking and cloud security
- Strong understanding of system monitoring, performance, availability, and reliability.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot infrastructure and production issues.
- Good understanding of cloud security, backups, and disaster recovery.
- Experience with cloud performance and cost optimization.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with development and security teams.

Ability to work under pressure and contribute to the continuous improvement of DevOps practices.

Additional Skills:
-
Experience with Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or similar IaC tools.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix environments and scripting.
- Knowledge of AWS networking and infrastructure security.

AWS certification is a plus.
