To maintain competitive advantage as we grow, we are currently looking for a new Supervisor Accounting – Intercompany Billing
Job purpose:
Owns intercompany billing across the group: runs the monthly cross-charge and recharge cycle between entities in line with the intercompany agreements and transfer-pricing policy, ensures both sides are booked, matched and settled, and delivers an agreed intercompany position for consolidation and tax. Supervises the two IC Billing Senior Accountants
Responsibilities:
- Own the monthly intercompany billing and recharge cycle across all Group entities, in line with intercompany agreements and the Group transfer-pricing policy.
- Ensure every intercompany transaction is booked on both sides, matched and agreed before each close.
- Lead the resolution of intercompany mismatches and disputes between entity finance teams.
- Monitor intercompany settlements and ageing and coordinate settlement with Treasury and local finance teams.
- Maintain the intercompany agreements register and the cost bases and allocation keys used for recharges.
- Prepare the intercompany reporting pack and supporting schedules for consolidation, audit and transfer-pricing documentation.
- Supervise, review and develop the two Intercompany Billing Senior Accountants.
- Drive process improvements and standardisation of intercompany billing within the Shared Service Center.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
- 5–7 years of relevant experience in accounting, with hands-on exposure to intercompany accounting in a multi-entity group.
- Strong knowledge and practical experience in IFRS.
- Working understanding of transfer-pricing principles and intercompany agreements.
- Strong experience in intercompany reconciliation, matching and dispute resolution.
- Experience working with multiple entities and/or countries.
- Prior experience supervising or reviewing the work of others.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across finance teams.
- SAP experience is preferred.
- IFRS diploma and/or CPA qualification is preferred.
- Experience in the Fintech/Financial Services industry is preferred.
