We are looking for an experienced Structural Design Engineer with a strong background in structural design and experience working on projects in the United States.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in structural engineering and design, particularly US-based projects.
- Strong knowledge of US building codes and structural design standards.
- Experience with ForteWeb for framing design.
- Experience with RISA-3D for braced frame design.
- Knowledge of Mathcad for engineering calculations, including wind loading.
- Experience in shear wall design is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Revit.
- Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform structural analysis and design for US-based projects.
- Design and evaluate structural framing systems.
- Conduct structural calculations and prepare engineering reports.
- Design braced frames and perform wind load calculations.
- Assist with shear wall design and structural detailing.
- Prepare and review structural drawings using Revit.
- Ensure compliance with applicable US building codes and design standards.
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure project accuracy and quality.
