We're Hiring | Junior Accountant – Beirut, Lebanon
An established company operating in the luxury fashion retail sector is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented and ambitious Junior Accountant to join its growing team in Beirut. Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records and process daily accounting transactions.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely recording and follow-up.
- Prepare financial reconciliations and monitor cash transactions.
- Process supplier invoices, payments, and expense reports.
- Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and management reports.
- Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on pending payments.
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Reconcile supplier and customer accounts.
- Assist with inventory accounting, stock reconciliations and cost tracking.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial transactions.
- Assist with budgeting, expense monitoring and financial analysis.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Previous experience in fashion or retail accounting is an advantage.
