Job Description
We are looking for a Structural BIM / Shop Drawing Engineer with strong hands-on experience in preparing Structural Shop Drawings using Autodesk Revit.
The candidate must be capable of developing coordinated, construction-ready structural drawings directly from BIM models and should have a strong understanding of structural detailing, constructability, and multidisciplinary coordination.
Qualifications
Requirements MUST have proven hands-on experience in preparing Structural Shop Drawings using Autodesk Revit. * Revit must be the primary tool used for Structural Shop Drawing production. * 3–5 years of solid experience in Revit Structure Modeling and Shop Drawing preparation. * Ability to independently develop construction-ready Structural Shop Drawings including plans, sections, elevations, details, schedules, and related documentation. * Strong experience in modeling and detailing structural elements. * Ability to convert IFC / design drawings into coordinated and accurate Shop Drawings in Revit. * Strong understanding of structural construction details and site execution requirements. * Ability to identify design conflicts, missing information, and constructability issues before issuing Shop Drawings. * Ability to coordinate Structural Shop Drawings with Architectural and MEP disciplines. * Ability to incorporate approved RFIs, design changes, and coordination comments into the Revit model and Shop Drawings. * Strong Revit annotation, detailing, sheet preparation, view management, scheduling, and family creation skills. * Ability to create and modify Revit Families when required. * Develop accurate construction drawings and extract schedules and project data directly from the BIM model. * Maintain consistency between the Revit Model and issued Shop Drawings*. * High attention to detail with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality. * Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight project deadlines.
Important: Candidates whose experience is limited to BIM modeling without actual Structural Shop Drawing production in Revit will not be considered.
