Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Shopping Mall Boutique Sales Associate role based in Shuwaikh. The Sales Associate will welcome customers, understand their needs, and provide product recommendations, ensuring a positive shopping experience in the boutique. Responsibilities include managing merchandise displays, restocking shelves, maintaining store cleanliness and organization, and handling point-of-sale transactions accurately. The role also involves learning product features, supporting promotional activities, and assisting with inventory checks and basic stock control. The Sales Associate will collaborate closely with the store team to meet sales targets, uphold brand standards, and provide courteous, professional service to all customers.
Qualifications
* Customer service skills, including active listening, clear communication, and a friendly, professional approach to assisting shoppers.
* Basic sales and retail skills, such as product presentation, upselling or cross-selling, and familiarity with working toward sales targets.
* Point-of-sale and cash handling abilities, including operating a cash register or POS system, processing payments, and issuing receipts accurately.
* Store operations skills, including merchandising, organizing displays, stock replenishment, and maintaining a clean and orderly boutique environment.
* Teamwork and reliability, with the ability to follow instructions, coordinate with colleagues, and adhere to work schedules and company policies.
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills to address customer queries and resolve minor issues independently.
* High school diploma or equivalent; prior retail or boutique sales experience is preferred but not mandatory.
* Comfort working on-site in Shuwaikh, standing for extended periods, and adapting to peak shopping hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
* Basic proficiency in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
