Role Description The Senior Structure Design Engineer will lead the design, analysis, and optimization of structural components and systems for various engineering projects. Responsibilities include developing detailed design concepts, performing calculations and simulations, and preparing technical drawings and documentation using CAD tools. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, coordinating with mechanical and electrical engineers, and ensuring designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and safety requirements. The engineer will review and validate design proposals, support troubleshooting and improvements during fabrication or installation, and contribute to continuous enhancement of design processes and best practices. This is a full-time, on-site role based in New Cairo.
Qualifications
- Strong background in Design Engineering and Product Design, with demonstrated experience in structural design for complex projects.
- Solid Mechanical Engineering knowledge, including materials, stress analysis, and structural integrity principles.
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software and related tools for modeling, drafting, and design documentation.
- Basic to intermediate understanding of Electrical Engineering concepts to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering, or a related discipline; advanced degree is an advantage.
- 10 years of Experience in post-tension, high-rise building designs, and complex projects in Residential and hospitality projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to interpret technical standards and specifications.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders.
- Ability to work on-site in New Cairo and manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
