Job Purpose
The Senior Graphic Designer acts as a creative lead across ILG’s portfolio of luxury watch and accessories brands, helping shape and elevate the visual direction of the business.
The role exists to ensure each brand is expressed with consistency, originality and a high level of creative craft, while continuing to evolve in a relevant and commercially effective way. As a senior member of the Studio, the role leads by example, champions strong creative thinking and helps raise the overall standard of design across the team.
Leadership is central to the position. The Senior Graphic Designer is expected to demonstrate confidence, sound judgement, accountability and a positive influence on others, helping create an environment where ideas can develop, designers can grow and high-quality creative work can thrive.
Job Description
The Senior Graphic Designer is responsible for the concept, development and execution of creative across brand campaigns, seasonal launches, retail and point-of-sale, e-commerce, social, digital and print.
Working within the Studio’s traffic and scheduling process, the role partners closely with Brand and Marketing teams, the wider Studio — including photography, retouching, video and motion graphics — and external agencies to translate briefs into effective, production-ready creative across multiple brands and projects.
The role combines hands-on design with creative leadership. Key responsibilities include setting design direction on projects, developing concepts from brief through to final artwork, presenting and communicating creative ideas with confidence, guiding and supporting other designers, and ensuring work is delivered to a consistently high standard.
The Senior Graphic Designer is also expected to manage competing priorities, make clear and timely creative decisions, and take ownership of projects from start to finish. The role embraces AI, emerging technologies and new creative tools where appropriate to improve workflow, increase efficiency and enhance the quality of creative output.
Knowledge & Expertise
- 5+ years’ experience within a brand, in-house studio or creative agency environment, with strong experience across graphic design, art direction, photography and video.
- A highly developed eye for craft, detail and visual quality, with the ability to maintain consistently high standards across all creative output.
- Advanced working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat, alongside strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong understanding of typography, layout, composition, digital design and brand systems, with the ability to apply these principles confidently across multiple channels.
- Experience working with photography, retouching, video and motion graphics, with Apple Keynote and video-editing capability considered an advantage.
- Strong understanding of brand identity and visual consistency, with the ability to work across multiple brands while maintaining their individual creative character.
- Ability to take creative projects independently from brief through concept, development and final production, while collaborating effectively with wider teams and stakeholders.
- Good understanding of production processes and artwork preparation across print, retail, e-commerce and digital channels.
- Strong awareness of current design trends, emerging technologies and evolving creative practices.
- Experience using AI-powered creative tools and workflows is highly desirable, with an ability to apply them intelligently to improve creativity, quality and efficiency.
