Overview
We are a wayfinding design companyseeking an experienced and design-driven Senior Architect who can also lead projects end-to-end. This role combines strong architectural expertise, spatial planning, and project management capabilities, ensuring design excellence while delivering projects with a team of designers on time, within scope, and within budget.
While prior experience in wayfinding is not required, a profound understanding of spatial planning, user movement, and human behaviour is essential. Demonstrated experience in project management is also a mandatory requirement for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Design Leadership & Strategy
- Lead the development of wayfinding concepts from initial brief through to execution
- Interpret project briefs with a deep understanding of context, user needs, market trends, and constraints
- Drive design research, benchmarking, analysis, and strategic direction
- Ensure high standards of design quality, innovation, and functionality across all deliverables
- Stay updated with industry trends and integrate them into design solutions
Project Management & Delivery
- Manage projects from concept to completion, including timelines, budgets, and resources
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and vendors
- Lead project planning, scheduling, and progress tracking to ensure timely delivery
- Oversee coordination across multidisciplinary teams (internal and external)
- Identify risks and proactively resolve design and execution challenges
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, codes, and standards
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Mentor and guide architects and design team members
- Lead brainstorming sessions and contribute to creative direction
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance team environment
- Review and approve design outputs, drawings, and documentation
Technical & Documentation
- Oversee preparation of drawings, specifications, and construction documentation
- Ensure accuracy and quality in technical detailing and execution drawings
- Manage documentation, reports, and project records efficiently
- Conduct space planning studies and feasibility assessments

Technical Skills:
- Expertise in AutoCAD and architectural drafting
- Expertise in BIM/Revit
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
- Strong working knowledge of construction methods, materials, and detailing
- Experience with project management tools is an advantage
- Knowledge of 3D modelling/rendering software (e.g., SketchUp, Rhino, or similar) preferred
- Proficiency in Google Workspace
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Asana
- Proficiency in AI tools such as Gemini, ChatGPT and Claude
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (or equivalent) from an accredited university
- 7+ years of relevant experience in architectural design and project management
- Proven track record of managing and delivering projects successfully
- Language: Impeccable English and Arabic; additional languages are an advantage
