Role Description The Search Engine Optimization Specialist is a full-time remote role responsible for improving organic search performance across multiple websites and campaigns. Day-to-day tasks include conducting keyword research, performing technical and on-page SEO reviews, and implementing optimization recommendations for content, metadata, and site structure. The specialist will monitor rankings, traffic, and user behavior using web analytics tools, and prepare regular performance reports with actionable insights. The role also involves planning and executing ethical link-building strategies, collaborating with content and marketing teams, and staying current with search engine algorithm updates and SEO best practices.

Qualifications

Ability to perform comprehensive Keyword Research and develop targeted keyword strategies.
Experience conducting thorough SEO Audits to identify technical, content, and structural issues.
Skills in ethical Link Building, including outreach and relationship management for quality backlinks.
Proficiency with Web Analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console) to measure performance and guide optimization.
Strong understanding of On-Page SEO, including title tags, meta descriptions, headings, internal linking, and content optimization.
Familiarity with common SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog) and content management systems.
Solid analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills, with attention to detail and data accuracy.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate in a remote, cross-functional team.
Relevant experience in SEO or digital marketing; a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field is beneficial but not required.
