Role Description The Room Service Waiter role at hala Bahrain hospitality is a full-time, on-site position based in Manama. The Room Service Waiter is responsible for taking and confirming guest orders, accurately recording requests, and coordinating with the kitchen and food & beverage teams to ensure timely preparation and delivery. Daily tasks include setting up trays and trolleys, delivering food and beverages to guest rooms, presenting bills, and handling payments in line with company procedures. The role involves responding to guest inquiries, resolving minor concerns, and maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor at all times. The Room Service Waiter also helps maintain cleanliness and organization in service areas, adheres to food safety and hygiene standards, and supports other team members during peak service periods.
Qualifications
* Strong customer service skills, with the ability to provide courteous, efficient, and responsive support to guests.
* Knowledge of food & beverage operations and food service procedures, including tray setup, order delivery, and basic menu familiarity.
* Effective communication skills to clearly take orders, relay information to the kitchen, and interact with guests and colleagues.
* Basic cooking or food-handling knowledge is an advantage, particularly for simple preparations or understanding dietary needs.
* Previous experience in hospitality, room service, or restaurant service is preferred but not mandatory.
* Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as required by hotel operations.
* Attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
