JOB PURPOSE
The ideal candidate will Manage restaurant construction and fit-out projects from concept design to final handover, ensuring completion within the approved scope, budget, and timeline. Support company expansion and coordinate facilities and maintenance activities to maintain operational readiness.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead multiple restaurant projects, overseeing design, tendering, construction, and handover to Operations.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets; monitor progress and manage changes to scope, cost, and timelines.
- Review design packages, tender documents, cost estimates, and contractor bids.
- Coordinate consultants, contractors, kitchen equipment suppliers, and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct site inspections to verify quality, compliance, and alignment with approved designs and specifications.
- Manage procurement, review contracts, and monitor supplier and contractor performance.
- Identify project risks, resolve issues, and escalate budget, schedule, or specification discrepancies to management.
- Standardize finishing materials and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) specifications to improve durability and reduce maintenance costs.
- Coordinate restaurant facilities maintenance, including preventive maintenance, repairs, contractor activities, and cost control.
- Support new location assessments, lease reviews, and expansion planning.

Ensure completion of snagging, testing, commissioning, and handover documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience managing restaurant construction and fit-out projects from design through final handover.
- Hands-on experience in facilities and maintenance management, preferably within restaurant or hospitality operations.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, tendering, procurement, contracts, and MEP coordination.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, contractors, and competing deadlines.
- Excellent planning, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- PMP certification preferred.
