COMPANY DESCRIPTION
BLACKBULL LAW HOUSE, a corporate legal and LegalTech organization working in coordination with the BLACKBULL Chamber of Investment, is developing an international platform combining corporate legal management, project finance, asset management, investment structuring, fundraising, and banking-channel development.
BLACKBULL is now seeking an experienced Project Finance Expert to develop institutional funding relationships across Bahrain, Riyadh/Saudi Arabia, and the UAE for new projects and financial-sector development opportunities in India.
The mandate is designed for an experienced finance professional who understands how to convert a pre-revenue project into an institutionally investable proposition through appropriate financial modelling, asset support, business cash-flow projections, security structures, investor economics, governance, and a credible route to profitability.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
The Project Finance Expert – GCC to India will be responsible for fundraising, project finance, banking relationships, asset-management strategy, investor development, and institutional capital arrangements for BLACKBULL's proposed India-focused projects.
This is not a general banking or business-development position. The selected professional must understand the complete financing cycle—from project assessment and investment structuring to investor presentation, due diligence, term-sheet negotiation, banking coordination, and financial closure.
The candidate should have strong knowledge of:
Project Finance | Fundraising | Banking | Bank Credit | Asset Management | Structured Finance | Investment Management | Private Credit | Equity Capital | Asset-Backed Finance | Financial Modelling | Cross-Border Investment
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
The selected professional will be expected to:
- Develop fundraising channels through Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and the UAE for qualified Indian projects.
- Establish relationships with banks, family offices, investment companies, private credit funds, PE firms, institutional investors, asset managers, strategic investors, and corporate financial institutions.
- Structure capital requirements for BLACKBULL's new India projects.
- Identify appropriate combinations of equity, debt, private credit, structured finance, strategic investment, asset-backed finance, and profit/revenue participation.
- Develop investment structures for projects that may initially be pre-revenue but have a defined commercial model, identifiable assets, projected cash flows, and a credible path to profitability.
- Prepare or coordinate financial models, project valuations, feasibility studies, investor presentations, information memoranda, risk analysis, capital structures, and funding strategies.
- Evaluate underlying assets and determine how eligible assets may support financing, subject to independent valuation and lender/investor underwriting.
- Negotiate commercial terms with investors, lenders, and strategic partners.
- Coordinate legal, financial, tax, banking, regulatory, and commercial due diligence.
- Manage the transaction process from initial investor engagement through term sheet and financial closure.
NEW BANKING & FINANCIAL CHANNEL DEVELOPMENT IN INDIA
A major component of this position will involve supporting BLACKBULL's proposed development of a new banking/financial-services ecosystem in India, including potential NBFC, credit, investment, asset-management, escrow, and institutional financial partnerships.
The Project Finance Expert should understand:
- Bank and NBFC capitalization
- Institutional credit structures
- Asset-backed lending
- Corporate and project credit
- Acquisition and structured finance
- Banking partnerships and financial alliances
- Investor capitalization strategies
- Portfolio and asset management
- Credit underwriting fundamentals
- Financial risk and security structures
- Cross-border capital arrangements
The candidate will help identify investors and strategic institutions capable of participating in the capitalization, partnership, acquisition, or development of appropriate regulated financial structures.
All banking, NBFC, lending, investment-management, and financial-services activities will remain subject to applicable licences, regulatory approvals, and Indian and relevant GCC regulations.
PRE-REVENUE PROJECT FINANCE EXPERTISE
BLACKBULL specifically requires a professional who understands pre-revenue project financing.
The candidate must be capable of explaining to investors how a project can progress from development stage to commercialization without presenting projected returns as guaranteed.
The financing strategy should clearly establish:
Capital Requirement → Use of Funds → Asset/Business Support → Commercial Model → Revenue Generation → Cash-Flow Management → Investor Economics → Risk Mitigation → Expansion → Exit or Long-Term Return Strategy
The Project Finance Expert must be able to convert this framework into an investment proposition acceptable for institutional review.
ASSET MANAGEMENT & BANK CREDIT
The successful candidate should have strong practical knowledge of asset management and the relationship between asset value, business cash flow, collateral, creditworthiness, debt servicing, security coverage, and investment risk.
The professional should be capable of evaluating whether a transaction is better suited for:
Bank Credit | Private Credit | Equity | Structured Debt | Asset-Backed Finance | Acquisition Finance | Strategic Investment | Joint Venture | Revenue/Profit Participation
The objective is not simply to "find money." The objective is to create a financially credible structure capable of attracting serious institutional capital.
GCC INVESTOR & INSTITUTIONAL RELATIONS
The candidate should be capable of developing meaningful relationships across:
Bahrain | Riyadh & Saudi Arabia | Dubai & Abu Dhabi | Wider GCC Markets
Preference will be given to professionals with established relationships with family offices, banks, investment funds, asset managers, private investors, corporate institutions, sovereign-linked investment networks, or other qualified capital providers.
The professional should be comfortable dealing directly with senior investors, board members, investment committees, bankers, credit teams, lawyers, auditors, and financial advisors.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Applicants should preferably have 10+ years of relevant experience in project finance, investment banking, corporate banking, fundraising, asset management, private credit, structured finance, institutional investment, bank credit, NBFC development, or cross-border finance.
Candidates should demonstrate:
- Previous project-finance or fundraising transactions.
- Understanding of large-ticket institutional capital.
- Strong knowledge of debt and equity financing.
- Asset-management and credit-analysis capabilities.
- Ability to structure pre-revenue investment opportunities.
- GCC investor or banking relationships.
- Understanding of Indian business and financial markets.
- Strong negotiation and transaction-management capabilities.
- Ability to work across multiple jurisdictions and professional teams.
PERFORMANCE-BASED POSITION
This is an execution-oriented position.
BLACKBULL is specifically interested in professionals who can demonstrate what transactions they have previously executed, which investor categories they can access, how they would structure the project, what funding route they recommend, and how they would progress a mandate toward financial closure.
The candidate must be capable of developing real institutional relationships and executable financing structures, rather than providing introductions alone.
COMPENSATION, INCENTIVES & EQUITY
For appropriately qualified professionals, BLACKBULL may offer a combination of:
Fixed Salary + Project-Based Compensation + Fundraising/Closure Incentives + Long-Term Benefits + Potential Equity Participation
The final structure will depend on experience, responsibilities, fundraising capability, transaction performance, institutional relationships, and long-term contribution to the project.
IDEAL CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate is a senior Project Finance & Fundraising professional who understands banking, bank credit, asset management, institutional investment, and international fundraising and can connect GCC capital with commercially viable Indian opportunities.
The objective is to develop a sustainable Bahrain–Saudi Arabia–UAE–India financial corridor capable of supporting BLACKBULL's new Indian projects, asset portfolios, and proposed banking/financial-channel development through professionally structured and regulatory-compliant capital.
