Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Pharmacist role based in Cairo at صيدليات دوس - Doss Pharmacies. The Pharmacist will dispense medications accurately, counsel patients on proper use, dosage, and potential side effects, and ensure prescriptions comply with legal and regulatory requirements. Daily responsibilities include reviewing and validating prescriptions, monitoring for drug interactions and contraindications, maintaining accurate records, and managing inventory, including medication storage, expiry checks, and ordering. The role also involves collaborating with healthcare professionals, supporting health awareness initiatives, providing excellent customer service, and adhering to all company policies and quality standards.
Qualifications
* Licensed Pharmacist with a valid registration in Egypt and a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (or equivalent).
* Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, dosage calculations, and prescription validation.
* Ability to provide clear, empathetic patient counseling and handle confidential health information responsibly.
* Solid understanding of pharmacy laws, regulations, and safe medication dispensing practices.
* Experience with pharmacy information systems, point-of-sale tools, and basic computer skills.
* Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage inventory effectively.
* Excellent communication skills in Arabic; proficiency in English is an advantage.
* Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
* Previous community pharmacy experience in Cairo or similar urban settings is preferred.
* Commitment to ethical practice, teamwork, and delivering high-quality patient care in a busy environment.
