WE ARE HIRING | MICE SUPERVISOR
Silk Wave Tours is looking for an experienced MICE Supervisor to join our growing team in Oman.
We are looking for someone with real hands-on experience in:
MICE – Meetings, Incentives, Conferences & Events.
The successful candidate should understand how to manage a MICE project from the initial client brief and proposal stage through planning, costing, supplier coordination and final on-ground execution.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Prepare MICE proposals, programs and quotations
• Handle corporate groups, incentive travel, meetings, conferences and events
• Coordinate hotels, meeting venues, transportation, restaurants and activities
• Negotiate and coordinate with local suppliers
• Prepare detailed event schedules and operational plans
• Manage group movements, VIP arrangements and special requests
• Coordinate with clients before, during and after each event
• Supervise on-ground operations and ensure smooth delivery
• Work closely with Sales, Contracting and Operations teams
• Handle last-minute changes and operational challenges professionally
REQUIREMENTS:
• Proven previous experience in MICE operations
• Strong understanding of Meetings, Incentives, Conferences & Events
• Previous DMC, Tour Operator, Event Management or Hospitality experience
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to prepare professional proposals and quotations
• Good knowledge of hotels, venues, transportation and destination services
• Ability to manage several suppliers and projects at the same time
• Excellent English communication skills
Experience in Oman, GCC and/or Egypt will be a strong advantage.
Knowledge of international corporate and MICE markets will also be highly valued.
LOCATION:
Muscat, Oman preferred.
