Em Sherif is looking for an experienced and passionate Head Chef to join our team in Amman, Jordan.
üîπ Position: Head Chef
üìç Location: Amman, Jordan
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the kitchen team effectively
• Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, and taste
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, and kitchen organization
• Manage daily kitchen operations, mise-en-place, and service
• Control food costs, waste, and inventory
• Train, develop, and motivate the culinary team
• Ensure compliance with Em Sherif Café standards and procedures
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Head Chef, preferably in a high-end restaurants
• Strong leadership and team-management skills
• Excellent knowledge of Lebanese and Middle Eastern cuisine
• Strong understanding of food cost, inventory, and kitchen operations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-standard environment
• Professional, organized, and hands-on approach
