Role Description The Industrial Electrician is a full-time, on-site role based in Beirut Governorate, Lebanon. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment used in flexible packaging manufacturing, including machines, control panels, and facility power distribution. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing electrical faults, performing troubleshooting on production lines, and completing corrective and preventive maintenance activities to minimize downtime. The Industrial Electrician will interpret electrical drawings, ensure safe wiring practices, and comply with relevant electrical and safety standards. The role also includes collaborating with maintenance, production, and quality teams to support continuous improvement and reliable plant operations.
Qualifications
- * Strong foundation in electricity and industrial electrical systems, including understanding of circuits, power distribution, and safety standards.
- Hands-on experience with maintenance & repair of production machinery and electrical equipment in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical issues, diagnosing faults, and implementing effective solutions under time constraints.
- Practical skills in electrical wiring, installation of cables, panels, and components in accordance with technical drawings and regulations.
- Experience with preventive maintenance, including routine inspections, scheduled servicing, and documentation of maintenance activities.
- Relevant technical diploma or vocational training in electrical engineering or industrial electricity.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals.
- Knowledge of applicable safety regulations and safe work practices for industrial environments.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
- Previous experience in plastics, packaging, or similar manufacturing sectors is an advantage.
