Nissan Al-Sour Company is seeking a skilled and reliable General Technician to join our Service team in Baghdad– Iraq. The role is responsible for performing vehicle maintenance, repairs, inspections, and basic diagnostics in accordance with Nissan and dealership standards, while ensuring quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities and Duties
1-Perform routine vehicle maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
2-Carry out mechanical and basic electrical repairs.
3-Perform oil changes, brake service, battery replacement, suspension repairs, and general maintenance.
4-Use diagnostic tools to identify and troubleshoot basic vehicle issues.
5-Follow Nissan repair manuals, technical instructions, and manufacturer standards.
6-Protect customer vehicles during servicing and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
7-Complete repair orders accurately and record work performed and time spent.
8-Complete assigned jobs within allocated repair times.
9-Follow all workshop safety, health, and environmental procedures.
10-Report additional repair requirements to the Team Leader or Job Controller.
11-Work closely with other technicians and workshop team members.
12-Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area.
Required Qualification
1-Diploma in Automotive Technology, Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
2-Minimum 2 years of experience as an automotive technician.
3-Experience in an authorized automotive dealership or service center is preferred.
4-Knowledge of vehicle mechanical and basic electrical systems.
5-Ability to use automotive diagnostic tools and workshop equipment.
6-Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
7-Strong attention to detail and commitment to repair quality.
8-Ability to work as part of a team and meet productivity targets.
9-Nissan Technician Accreditation or relevant manufacturer training is an advantage.
10-Good command of English and Arabic; Kurdish is an advantage.
