Role Description The Die Cutting role at Duplex Packaging is a full-time, on-site position based in Ras Beirut. The team member is responsible for operating die cutting machines, setting up tools and materials, and ensuring accurate cutting of packaging components according to production specifications. Daily tasks include monitoring machine performance, performing basic adjustments and preventive checks, and inspecting finished pieces for quality and consistency. The role also involves following safety procedures, maintaining a clean and organized work area, coordinating with supervisors and colleagues to meet production schedules, and documenting production activities as required.
Qualifications
* Ability to operate or learn to operate die cutting and related packaging machinery, with attention to detail and accuracy.
* Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills to perform routine adjustments and troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
* Strong focus on quality control, including visual inspection skills and adherence to production standards and specifications.
* Commitment to workplace safety, proper handling of tools and materials, and compliance with company safety policies.
* Ability to stand for extended periods, handle repetitive tasks, and lift moderate weights as required by the production environment.
* Good communication skills and ability to work cooperatively with supervisors and colleagues on the production floor.
* Previous experience in packaging, printing, or manufacturing is preferred but not required; willingness to learn and follow instructions is essential.
* High school diploma or equivalent is beneficial; vocational or technical training in manufacturing or machinery operation is a plus.
