About the roleWe are looking for a hands-on DevOps Engineer to own the infrastructure behind Onsite Construction Cloud. You will run a multi-cloud production estate across AWS, Azure and OCI, and keep it secure and monitored.
In this role you will:
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Monitor system performance and security
• Automate operational processes
• Configure and maintain development environments
• Implement security best practices
• Manage backup and disaster recovery
• Collaborate with development teams
Key responsibilitiesCloud infrastructure
• Operate and optimize production environments
• Manage the application web servers: patching, hardening, capacity and cost optimization
• Design and maintain networking: VPCs/VNets, subnets, security groups, NACLs, route tables, VPNs and load balancing
• Support new regional deployments for data-residency needs, including evaluating local cloud and hosting providers
Databases
• Administer relational databases in a multi-tenant architecture
• Own backup, restore, storage and performance health: recovery models, file growth, index and integrity maintenance
• Automate release database migrations across all tenant databases, replacing manual scripts
CI/CD and release
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Automate deployments across all production instances with versioned, repeatable, rollback-ready releases
• Integrate automated tests, security scanning and AI-assisted code review into pipelines
• Maintain development, QA and staging environments
Security and compliance
• Implement controls and collect evidence for SOC 2 Type 2 and ISO 27001
• Manage identity and access
• Maintain TLS configuration, endpoint protection (EDR), vulnerability remediation and penetration-test follow-up
Monitoring and operations
• Run observability with Grafana, Loki and Grafana Alloy (logs, metrics, alerting) across servers
• Lead incident response and post-mortems for production issues
• Automate operational tasks with PowerShell, Python, Node and Bash
Requirements• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field
• 3+ years in DevOps, cloud or systems engineering, running production SaaS workloads
• 3+ years with AWS (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, CloudWatch); working experience with Azure
• 3+ years with SQL Server administration: backup/restore, maintenance, performance tuning
• 3+ years of PowerShell scripting and automation
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines
• Solid networking and security fundamentals: TLS, firewalls, DNS, identity and access management
