We are hiring | Design Team leader
Ecotel For ICT is looking for an experienced Design Team Leader to join our Data Center Business Unit and lead the Pre-Award Design Team in delivering integrated engineering solutions for Data Center & Mission-Critical Infrastructure projects.
üîπ Key Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate the Design Team throughout the pre-award/bidding process.
Lead technical interpretation of RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, technical specifications, and project requirements.
Define the target Uptime Institute Tier (I–IV) and overall system architecture.
Coordinate Electrical, Mechanical, and ELV disciplines to ensure an integrated and consistent design.
Review and approve engineering concepts, calculations, BOQs/MTOs, compliance matrices, and technical proposals.
Ensure design quality, Tier compliance, reliability, resiliency, and concurrent maintainability.
Drive Value Engineering and identify design optimization opportunities.
Coordinate with Presales, Commercial, Procurement, and Vendors throughout the bidding process.
Support technical clarifications, commercial discussions, and contract negotiations.
Manage technical risks, design constraints, and compliance requirements.
üîπ Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline.
10+ years of experience in MEP or Mission-Critical Infrastructure Design.
At least 2 years of experience in a leadership role.
Strong understanding of Data Center infrastructure and integrated engineering solutions.
Good knowledge of Uptime Institute Tier I–IV requirements.
Ability to interpret RFP/RFQ/RFI requirements and translate them into complete engineering solutions.
Uptime Institute Accredited Tier Designer (ATD) is strongly preferred.
CDCP/CDCS, ASHRAE Data Center training, or ISO-related certifications are an advantage.
Professional knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Familiarity with Revit MEP, ETAP, EcoDial, HAP, and Elite Software. Design_Team_Leader Design_Team_Leader
