A brand launched in 2025 with one product and a bet: that the science behind their product was strong enough to build a real business on, if someone finally marketed it properly. Nobody had. They did, and it worked, they're at a $30M/year run rate off creative alone, no retail, no influencers, no luck. Now they're pushing for $50M, and the one thing standing between them and that number is more senior hands who can write winning concepts without being told how.
This is a full-time, remote contractor role.
WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU
- Uncapped upside. 2.5% of spend on your own creative, on top of base. OTE runs $15k+/month for top performers.
- High autonomy. You own your concept pipeline. Angles and offers are set collaboratively, not handed down.
- A genuine growth track. Strategist to Senior Strategist to team leadership as the brand scales toward $50M, and they promote from within.
- Schedule flexibility. Fully remote with real flexibility when you work.
WHAT YOU'RE GETTING INTO
- Write long-form static, advertorial-style copy as your core daily output
- Own your own concept pipeline from research to brief to test to iteration
- Mine competitor ad libraries constantly for what's working and why
- Brief designers and editors on execution, then review what comes back
- Read your own performance data and know exactly how your concepts are doing against CPA and MER
- Push winners further and kill losers fast, using a defined winner / super winner classification system
- Bring your own angles to the roadmap, not just execute what's assigned
- Sit in a weekly cadence with the Head of Strategists on what's winning, what's dying, and why
WHO YOU ARE
- You've got 12+ months as a direct response copywriter or creative strategist, ideally in supplements or health DTC
- You've personally written ads or advertorials that scaled at real spend, not just shipped volume
- You're fluent in Meta Ads Manager and comfortable in tools like Motion or Airtable, or you pick up new tools fast
- You can articulate exactly why an ad won or lost, not just that it did
- You think in CPA and conversion first, aesthetics second
- You communicate proactively without needing to be chased
- You're comfortable in a compliance-conscious category and know how to write around health claims properly
