Under the supervision of the Engineering and Projects Manager, the Shop Drawing Architect prepares technical drawings (structural and architectural drawings) and plans for further use by production and installation. They also prepare detailed drawings of the project in accordance with the complete scope of work in terms of quantity and specification in line with the BOQ for approval of Client/Consultant.
Responsibilities
- Submits drawings according to the BOQ and/or tender documents (Details drawings showing dimensions, materials and construction details).
- Produces proper and accurate shop drawings (AutoCAD Drawing).Prepares shop drawing including the details required to facilitate the execution at the production phase.
- Coordinates with the project manager, assistant PM, or project supervisor.
- Prepares engineering, and architectural drawings from sketches, verbal descriptions, specifications and legal description.
- Proposes alternatives on a technical issue.
- Prepares specifications and analytical and technical reports.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in architecture.
- Strong organizational, creative and presentation skills.
- Proficient in AutoCAD.
