Looking for a full-time Interior Designer who is proactive, organized, design-oriented and client-facing, with the potential to take on greater project responsibility over time. The position combines interior design and project coordination.
Requirements
- * Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture required.
- 2 or 3 years of experience
- Excellent AutoCAD skills and ability to read architectural plans.
- Strong space-planning and furniture layout skills.
- Ability to create mood boards and design presentations.
- Proficiency in Photoshop.
- Illustrator, SketchUp and/or 3ds Max are an advantage.
- 3D rendering is a plus.
- Strong knowledge and interest in furniture, materials, finishes and fabrics.
- Good design eye and understanding of contemporary interiors.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
- Confident and professional when dealing with clients, suppliers and contractors.
Responsibilities
- * Assisting with mood boards, furniture layouts and selections, preparing presentations, sourcing furniture and materials.
- Coordinating with suppliers.
- Following quotations and orders.
- Attending selected client meetings and site visits.
- Assisting with the day-to-day running of the studio.
Salary1200-1500 + commission. (Based on experience.)
