Role Overview
DXC Technology is seeking an experienced Chief Enterprise Architect to lead the end-to-end architecture of a large-scale enterprise transformation programme.
The successful candidate will own the target enterprise architecture, chair the Design Authority, and define architectural principles, standards, and roadmaps across applications, integration, data, cloud, infrastructure, network, and cybersecurity.
This role requires strong technical leadership, executive stakeholder engagement, and experience leading multidisciplinary architecture teams and technology partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and direct the target enterprise architecture, ensuring alignment with business objectives and programme requirements.
- Define and govern architectural principles, standards, solution blueprints, and technology roadmaps.
- Chair the Design Authority and Architecture Review Board, resolving cross-domain design decisions.
- Lead end-to-end solution design across applications, integration, data, cloud, infrastructure, network, and cybersecurity.
- Lead architects and technology partners, ensuring consistent design and delivery across workstreams.
- Govern requirements, interface specifications, and architecture decision records.
- Ensure solutions meet availability, performance, scalability, security, resilience, and maintainability requirements.
- Evaluate platforms and technologies, making informed build-versus-buy decisions.
- Own programme-level architectural risks and technical issues, embedding security and data protection into solution design.
- Support proposals, estimates, statements of work, and total cost of ownership assessments.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to executive stakeholders, communicating complex decisions clearly.
- Mentor the architecture team and promote continuous improvement in architectural practices.
Required Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Typically 15+ years of relevant enterprise or solution architecture experience, including substantial leadership of architecture governance and design authorities.
- Proven ownership of end-to-end enterprise architecture across large, complex transformation programmes.
- Strong cross-domain expertise spanning applications, integration, data, cloud, infrastructure, network, and cybersecurity.
- Experience designing on-premises infrastructure and hybrid environments, including network and security architecture.
- Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary architects, vendors, and technology partners.
- Strong understanding of architectural risk management, platform selection, and non-functional design.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and executive engagement skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- TOGAF certification or an equivalent enterprise architecture qualification.
- Relevant cloud or security architecture certifications.
- Advanced degree in a related discipline.
