Role Description The Accounting Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Heliopolis. This role oversees day-to-day accounting operations, including supervising the general ledger, preparing and reviewing financial statements, and ensuring accuracy of journal entries. The Accounting Manager manages fixed asset accounting, monitors expenses and revenue, and supports budgeting and forecasting activities. The role includes coordinating with internal departments and external auditors, maintaining compliance with local accounting standards and company policies, and improving financial processes and controls. The individual will lead and mentor the accounting team, provide analytical insights to management, and support decision-making with timely, reliable financial information.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Financial Statements and Finance, with the ability to interpret and present results to management.
- Hands-on experience with Journal Entries (Accounting) and general ledger maintenance, ensuring accurate and timely postings.
- Knowledge of Fixed Assets accounting, including asset capitalization, depreciation, and disposals.
- Advanced Analytical Skills for variance analysis, cost control, and financial performance evaluation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is an advantage.
- Experience in a managerial accounting role, preferably within technology, security systems, or related industries.
- Familiarity with ERP/accounting software and strong Excel skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop accounting teams, manage deadlines, and maintain high attention to detail.
- Knowledge of Egyptian accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
