Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly qualified Wireless Engineer with strong hands-on experience in the design, implementation, operation, optimization, and troubleshooting of enterprise Aruba Wireless solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement enterprise WLAN solutions across different deployment models:
- Aruba Controller/Gateway-based solutions
- Aruba Instant / IAP deployments
- Aruba Central cloud-managed WLAN
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for complex wireless issues.
- Configure and optimize SSID, AAA, 802.1X, RADIUS, WPA2/WPA3, VLANs, roles, ACLs, QoS, roaming, and RF parameters.
- Perform WLAN optimization including RF planning, channel/power optimization, coverage, capacity, interference, and roaming analysis.
- Integrate Aruba Wireless with LAN, DHCP, DNS, RADIUS/NPS, ClearPass/ISE, and other enterprise infrastructure.
- Support wireless migration, upgrades, and large-scale/multi-site deployments.
- Perform wireless surveys and validation using Ekahau or equivalent tools.
- Prepare technical documentation including HLD/LLD, implementation plans, MOPs, test plans, and as-built documentation.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of enterprise wireless/network engineering experience, with strong Aruba experience.
- Advanced hands-on knowledge of ArubaOS, Aruba Central, Aruba APs, Mobility Controllers/Gateways, and IAP.
- Strong understanding of 802.11, Wi-Fi 5/6/6E, RF fundamentals, 802.11k/v/r, roaming, OFDMA, MU-MIMO, and wireless security.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with experience using Wireshark, Aruba CLI/Central, packet captures, and wireless analysis tools.
