About the role:
Technical Product Manager will be planning, executing, and delivering technology projects on time within scope and budget. The Project Manager will be the central point of coordination between Engineering, Product, QA, and business stakeholders ensuring clear communication, well managed timelines and predictable delivery across one or more concurrent projects.
What you’ll do:
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and senior management.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations, and track progress against them.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (Engineering, Product, QA, Design, Operations) to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
- Identify, track, and mitigate project risks and issues; escalate blockers to leadership when needed.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource utilization, reporting variances proactively.
- Run regular status meetings, stand-ups, and stakeholder updates; maintain clear and accurate project documentation.
- Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, retrospectives, backlog grooming) where applicable.
- Ensure quality standards, technical requirements, and compliance/regulatory needs are met throughout delivery.
- Manage relationships with external vendors, contractors, and third-party partners as required.
- Conduct post-project reviews and document lessons learned to improve future delivery.
What we're looking for
Essential skills and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or a related technical field.
- 2+ years in a dedicated Project Manager role delivering technology or software development projects, preceded by at least two years in a hands-on technical role.
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Asana, or similar).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Nice to have
- PMP, PRINCE2, CSM, or equivalent project management certification.
- Prior experience in fintech, trading platforms, or other regulated technology environments.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and modern engineering practices (CI/CD, microservices).
- Experience working with distributed, cross-timezone teams.
